How To: Fix Nvidia OpenGL Errors/Black Screen/Driver Stopped Responding Problems

How To: Fix Nvidia OpenGL Errors/Black Screen/Driver Stopped Responding Problems Tube. Duration : 5.97 Mins.

This is perhaps the best, and most efficient method of fixing Nvidia OpenGL/Black Screen issues. It has to do with Nvidia Powermizer and we're going to disable it. Be sure you've done the following: - Have set the Power Management from 'Adaptive' to 'Maximum Performance' - Have Clean Installed Drivers (removed all previous Nvidia Display Drivers and Installed Fresh ones) - That your graphics card is NOT damaged or overclocked too high This requires you to mess with your registry, so before to make a back up prior to attempting what is seen in this video. Thanks to miemens of the NotebookReview forums for this workaround. You can also try this software to disable Nvidia's Powermizer, however I'm not sure if it works (many say it does): somemorebytes.com
