Following the new server crash at Danger, Microsoft and T-Mobile technicians have been working to exertion to recover personal data that was lost. One million users of the Sidekick, a phone that is popular with many U.S. Celebrities including Paris Hilton, were informed that all their personal data had been lost as a succeed of a fault with the servers.
Microsoft use a "cloud computing" assistance to store huge amounts of personal data files on a remote group server rather than on the users corporeal device.

At the time it was plan that all the data was enduringly lost but now Microsoft have recovered much of the personal contacts and so can be accessed by the owners again.
The method for restoring Sidekick contacts is outlined below:
Before you start you need to have an active Sidekick Data Plan. For the users who have changed their data plan they will be required to revert back to their Sidekick Data Plan to entrance their lost contacts list.
How to Export Your Contacts.
Go online to My T-Mobile and login.
The next step is to opt "Restore your Contacts" (Recover and restore your Sidekick contacts).
